MOUNT OLIVET — Louise Taylor Jett Johnson, 98, originally of Mount Olivet, passed away peacefully at home in Port Charlotte, Fla. on Oct. 20, 2017.

She was born April 17, 1919 to William and Elizabeth Taylor of Robertson County.

Louise Taylor Jett was a graduate of Deming High School and retired from the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington. Her belief in her Christian faith always served as her daily guide throughout her life.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband and high school sweetheart of 47 years, Clinton Jett of Mount Olivet in 1986; and husband of 21 years, Byron Johnson of Port Charlotte, Fla. in 2011. She was also preceded in death by one son, David William Jett in 1962; and five brothers, Conway (Ella Mae) Taylor, Newton (Elizabeth) Taylor, Hillary (Mildred) Taylor, Frank (Marge, Suzanne) Taylor and William Taylor.

She is survived by one son, Cline (Cathy Hartwig) Taylor of Englewood, Fla.; and one daughter, Suzanne (Charlie) Wilcox of Port Charlotte, Fla. She leaves behind an extended family of grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and other family members and friends.

Memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. April 17, 2018 at Kain and Kabler Funeral Home, with visitation from 1 p.m. until the hour of service.

Burial in the Mount Olivet Cemetery with Bro. Seth Adamson officiating.
