Juanita was a consummate wife, mother and homemaker. She and her late husband, Clarence, called many places home during their life together, including Ohio, Kentucky, Texas and North Carolina. She was an exquisite seamstress and quilter. Over the years she hand-quilted numerous quilts she shared with her family. She also enjoyed boating, water sports, camping and traveling with her family.
Juanita had an unwavering faith in God. When she and Clarence retired in Flemingsburg, she faithfully taught the adult Sunday school class at Flemingsburg Baptist Church. She also volunteered at the Flemingsburg Hospital gift shop and worked in the local Christian bookstore. Juanita was most recently a member of Rosemont Baptist Church in Lexington.
At Mrs. Hill’s request, graveside services will be conducted by Rev. Chris Beckham at Fleming County Cemetery in Flemingsburg on Thursday, April 12, at noon.
