MAYSVILLE — Marlene Mae Sentney, left this world March 13, 2018, to be with her Heavenly Father, family and friends, all waiting to see her.
Marlene was born Oct. 29, 1936, to the late Ted and Delores Reeder Mitchell and her older brother John R., who she loved dearly.
She married Earl Thompson Sentney Jr. on June 2, 1952, and together they had five sons.
Survivors include her sons, Rick (Naomi) of Bentonville, Randy (Deanna) of Manchester, Mark (Karen) of Winchester and Jeff of West Union; and a daughter-in-law, Susan Sentney.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Robert; her brother John R.; and two young grandsons who are surely waiting to bring her home.
Marlene always helped her family as they faced their heavenly journey. She was truly an angel on earth.
Services for Marlene Sentney will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Brell and Son Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Charter Oak Cemetery.
Visitation will be from noon until the time of the service.
