MRS. HESTER

MOUNT OLIVET — Phyllis Buckner Hester, age 90, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 28 at Robertson County Healthcare Facility.

She was born on April 12, 1931 in Sardis, to the late Claude Lebus Buckner and Lyna Dillon Buckner.

Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Hester; one son, Phillip Howard Jett; and one sister, Glenn Ellyn Buckner McDowell.

She is survived by one brother, David Michael (Phyllis) Buckner; three grandchildren, Jimmy P. (Paula) Jett, Jennifer Jett and Phillip Brian (Shawna) Jett; eight great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and a special niece, Claudette (Lynn) Northcutt

A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, Oct. 2 at 1 p.m., at Robertson County Funeral Home with Bro. Bill Henry officiating.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of service.

Burial will be at Mount Olivet Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Mount Olivet United Methodist Church.
