MR. STAMPER


MAYSVILLE — Terry Wayne Stamper Sr., 64, passed away Friday, Jan. 8, 2021.

Terry was born July 14, 1956, in Maysville to the late Anna Simms Woodward.

He was retired from the City of Maysville where he worked for over 30 years and was a lifelong member of the Moose Lodge and the Eagles Lodge. Terry was an avid UK sports fan and was mostly known for his ability to jump on and off the bandwagon.

He is survived by his children, Terry Wayne Stamper Jr. of Maysville, Chasity Caudill of Aberdeen, and Joshua Stamper of Flemingsburg; his grandchildren, Dalton Gray, Meranda Bennett, Haleigh Townsend, Travis Stamper Jr. and Skylar Stamper; his siblings, Kathy Cutter, James (Patty) Stamper, Peggy Taylor, Janice (Joe) Kinder and Sheila (Carl) Pollitt, all of Maysville, Dale (Deborah) Mineer of Georgia and Judy Ikard of South Carolina; his loving companion, Leslie Peshek; and special friends, Norbert Gallenstein and Troy White.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a son, Travis Stamper; and his grandparents, Mark and Lula Simms.

Services for Terry Stamper will be held at 1 p.m., Monday, Jan. 11, 2021, at Brell and Son Funeral Home.

Burial will follow in the Maysville Mason County Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Norbert Gallenstein, Roger Bloomfield, Mike Young, Troy White, Bentley Applegate, and Bill Jett.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Monday, at the funeral home.

All in attendance are required to wear a mask and practice social distancing.
