On Oct. 15, Jones entered a guilty plea to the third-degree violating a protection order charge before the common pleas court.

After the guilty plea, Gusweiler sentenced Jones to 12 months confinement in the Ohio Department of Corrections, with all other charges dismissed. Post release control for Jones is optional for three years.
