AUGUSTA — The Augusta Independent Educational Foundation is trying to find information on Augusta Independent School alumni.

According to Aaron Linville, a spokesperson with the AIEF, the foundation is putting together a private database with contact information for alumni.

“The database is contact information for all alumni and friends who have either graduated from AIS, former teachers/admin/staff or are supporters of the school district,” Linville said. “The database is private and information will not be shared or sold to third parties.”

Linville said there are 342 alumni/friends missing from the database.

“We do not have any information on these persons other than they might be a graduate or a friend,” he said.

According to Linville, the information needed includes physical addresses and emails.

“We need physical addresses and/or emails. Some alumni or friends may need to differentiate whom they are because we are not 100 percent sure,” he said. “The list that we have posted have no contact information whatsoever. These are the focus points currently so everyone has an address/email.”

There is no deadline for information to be submitted to the database, according to Linville.

“There is no deadline. The database is a living document and changes are made frequently due to deaths, marriages, name changes, address changes or email changes. Our goal is to get addresses/emails corrected so people can receive mailers and information concerning the annual foundation dinner, fundraisers, elections, meetings and other items,” he said.

Anyone wanting to have their information listed in the database can contact [email protected], which is the email address to the foundation or send a message on the foundation’s Facebook page at Physical copies of information can also be mailed to AIEF, Inc., 307 Bracken Street, Augusta KY 41002.
