FLEMINGSBURG – Wednesday afternoon at approximately 1:30, a log truck traveling in Fleming County, toppled over spilling the logs it was carrying.
Marshall Fannin of West Liberty, was driving the log truck to Green Tree saw mill on Muses Mill Road, officials said. According to Sheriff Gary Kinder, Fannin met the log truck and another truck that was moving a mobile home met in a curve. With both trucks carrying wide loads, Fannin was forced into a ditch,resulting in his truck overturning and spilling the load of logs it was carrying.
Oblivious to what happened, the truck carrying the mobile home continued on the roadway. Fannin was taken to went on to Saint Claire Medical Center in Morehead for treatment of a small cut on the back of his head.
A skid loader was called to reload the logs so the cargo could be transferred to the saw mill, officials said.
