Emergency workers check on the drivers of these vehicles Thursday morning following an accident on U.S. 62 in Maysville. Maysville Police Sgt. Eric Hylander said James King, 89, of Maysville, driving a Toyota, pulled from the parking lot of Lee’s Famous Recipe onto U.S. 62 and into the path of an eastbound Jeep Compass driven by Woodrow McQuitty, 72, of Maysville. Both drivers suffered minor cuts and refused treatment at the scene. A passenger in the McQuitty vehicle, Rhonda Friedhoff, was not injured.
