FLEMINGSBURG — Work on Kentucky 367 will cause closures next week in Fleming County, state officials said.

According to Kentucky Transportation Cabinet spokesperson Allen Blair, beginning on Monday, July 16, crews will close Kentucky 367 from .2 miles west of Kentucky 17o.

Work will begin at 7:30 a.m. and remain closed until crews are finished with the work.

“The road will remain closed night and day until work is complete,” Blair said.

The work on the roadway will include replacing a bridge with an aluminum box culvert, according to Blair.

According to Blair, the work should be completed by 3 p.m. on Friday, July 20, weather permitting.

No through traffic will be allow on the roadway during the work.

“Barricades will be placed on Kentucky 367 at Kentucky 170 and Kentucky 888, with only local traffic permitted past those points,” he said.

Blair said motorists can use detours around the closure along Kentucky 170, Kentucky 161 and Kentucky 180 while work is ongoing along Kentucky 367.

Blair said work is subject to change depending on weather conditions.

“Motorists are asked to heed all warning signs,” he said. “Slow down in work zones and remain aware of workers and construction equipment when traveling.”
