TOLLESBORO — The Tollesboro Lions Club Fair is set for July 13-21, at the Lions Club Fairgrounds.
The fair will begin on Friday, July 13 with a tug tractor pull at 7 p.m. and a saddle horse show at 7:30 p.m.
On Saturday, July 14, another tug tractor pull will be held at 7 p.m., followed by a walking horse show at 7:30 p.m.
A parade/bicycle parade will begin Sunday, July 15, at 2 p.m.
On Monday, July 16, there will be a demolition derby, Miss Teen Pageant for ages 13-15 and youth sheep and goat Show at 7 p.m. The Miss Pre-Teen pageant for ages 8-12 will start at 8 p.m.
Floral Hall entries can be dropped off on Tuesday, July 17, at noon. The hall will reopen for viewing at 6 p.m. A baby show also starts at 6 p.m. Other events on Tuesday include an ATV Drag Race at 6:30 p.m., RC Truck and Car and Hog Show at 7 p.m. and the Cutie Pie baby show for ages 19-36 months that will all be held at 7:30 p.m.
On Wednesday, July 18, the dairy show and petting zoo starts at 5 p.m., the boys three-on-three basketball starts at 6 p.m., the garden tractor pull starts at 6:30 p.m., the toddler show and truck/car dirt drag racing starts at 7 p.m. and the Little Miss and Mr. pageant begins at 8 p.m. The poultry show also start at 8 p.m.
On Thursday, July 19, the steer show begins at 6 p.m., with a motocross race at 7 p.m., Bluegrass/Gospel concert and Lions Queen Pageant at 7:30 p.m. The beef show will start at 8 p.m.
On Friday July 20, there will be the Battle of the Bluegrass pull at 7 p.m., a mud sling at 7:30 p.m. and a talent show at 8 p.m.
On Saturday, July 21, kids power wheels mud sling starts at 6 p.m. and the Lucas Pro Pulling League and mud sling/mud bog at 7 p.m.
Gate admission is $5 for July 13-14 and $10 for July 16-21.
Rides are included in the gate admission.
Admission for children three under under is free. Wrist bands for rides for children three and under is $5. Parking is free.
