Kentucky Supreme Court Justice Michelle M. Keller was on hand Thursday to conduct a swearing in ceremony for Claire Estill, the daughter of Mason County Attorney John Estill.

The ceremony was arraigned by Assistant County Attorney Jackie Sue Wright Shadoan, president of the Mason/Bracken Bar Association, as an alternative to the more traditional ceremony admitting new lawyers to practice in Kentucky held twice each year in Frankfort.

Among those on hand for the ceremony at the historic Mason County Courthouse were Sheriff Patrick Boggs who called court to order and announced a special concurrent session of District Court with District Judge Jeffrey Schumacher and Circuit Court with Circuit Judge Stockton Wood. Retired Judge Robert I. Gallenstein was also on the bench.
