BROOKSVILLE | More grand jury indictments were released on Tuesday, naming people allegedly involved in drug or theft activities in Bracken County.

According to Bracken County Sheriff Howard Niemeier, “The sheriff’s office has completed an 18-month investigation into drug activity in the county. These investigations are a continuation of our efforts for attacking the drug problems in Bracken County.”

Work to address the drug problems in the county will continue, he said.

“The drug problems in the county are much worse than we thought they were coming into office four years ago,” Niemeier said. “I would never have thought that we would have the problems that we have in this county. The major issues are with pills and heroin.” Heroin being the cheapest drug of choice in the county, he said.

In addition to Amanda Hill Borgman, 23, of Augusta; Scott Mills, 35, of Augusta; Roy “Oz” Thornton, 58, of Augusta; Dina Stewart, 50, of Germantown; Greg Boyd, 58, of Brooksville; Molly Abercrombie, 38; Joseph Damron, 45; Cindy Purcell, 34, of Augusta; Brad Scolf, 35; Danielle Niemeier, 32, of Augusta; and Aaron Holleran, 24, who were reported as indicted on a variety of drug charges last week, four more individuals were arrested on indictments from the Bracken County grand jury on Nov. 20.

Tonya Hadden, 35, of Brooksville was indicted on two counts of trafficking in a controlled substance, heroin, less than two grams, and a count of trafficking a controlled substance of equal to or more than two grams. Hadden was also indicted on a count of criminal possession of a forged instrument for allegedly forging a signature on a check of another person and cashing it on Oct. 20.

Calvin Junior Morton, 30, of Augusta was indicted on four misdemeanor charges of selling or transferring a simulated controlled substance; a count of trafficking in a controlled substance, heroin and an enhancement for persistent felony offender. According to court records, Morton was convicted of a felony robbery charge in 2003 in Mason County.

Joy Wallingford, 28, of Augusta was indicted on a charge of second-degree trafficking in a controlled substance and enhancement of persistent felony offender. She was sentenced in 2012 in a Mason County court for theft of a firearm conviction.

Debbie McClanahan Kiskaden, 55, was indicted on a count of trafficking a controlled substance, oxycodone, a count of trafficking a controlled substance hydrocodone and trafficking in a controlled substance.

Jessica Fuller, 32, of Falmouth was indicted on a count of trafficking in a controlled substance, heroin; and Shaun Anthony Little, 38, was indicted on two counts of criminal possession of a forged instrument, also related to the Hadden check case.

Bond on Little was set at $1,400 with a 10 percent allowance.

Bond on Wallingford, Kiskaden, Fuller, and Hadden was set at $5,000; with bond on Morton set at $25,000.
