Olive Hill’s Singing Songwriter Sasha Colette brings her uniquely famous blend of Kentucky born Rock n’ Soul back to the Live On Electric Avenue stage on Thursday, Aug. 2.
Sasha is a real crowd pleaser who loves to engage the audience during her shows. Her stories about the songs she writes are as good as the songs themselves! Packing her banjo and trusty six string, Sasha Colette is nearly a household name throughout the Kentucky, Ohio and West Virginia region for her entertaining charm and vocal styling and stays busy playing festivals and venues all around the Tri-State area.
Her trusty side-kick, Mr. Jeremy “Guitar Slinger” Short will be breaking from his busy touring schedule to come lend his signature guitar accompaniment and harmonies for the evening’s event. Jeremy is originally from Breathitt County and was a semi-finalist in the 2016 International Blues Challenge held in Memphis, Tennessee! This duo has produced two albums together which have been widely acclaimed.
Sasha currently has a new gospel project that will be available for purchase that includes some of here favorite hymns along with some of her own original songs.
We would like to thank our sponsors for making this summer’s music series available.
The show will begin at 7 p.m., on Electric Avenue near City Hall. Bring your lawn chair and enjoy the music. In case of rain, the show will be moved to Double S Entertainment. All performances are free and open to the public.
